Surround yourself with dreamers

BASIC NEEDS

What is health?

In my book #FISHLADYINFORMS – You can be smarter

I write that Hippocrates, the father of medicine in ancient Greece, lists how the way we think is the most important component to our health.

Stress and negative thoughts are devastating to your health. If you think positive thoughts and believe in positive health benefits, it works wonders for your  health as this, among other things, leads to the secretory hormone dopamine being secreted.

After gratitude:

3. Water
4. Sizes
5. Physical activity

How can we take responsibility for our own happiness?

In 1943, American psychologist Abraham Maslow presented a basic need list on how we humans prioritize our needs in a certain order.

  • Physical Needs, Food, Exercise, Intimacy, Sleep, (Healthy – Health – Energy)
  • Security, having a roof over your head, money (money, buffer, pension – wealthy)
  • To be seen, community, family, friends, love, belonging to someone or something, being appreciated, (energy – happiness)
  • Variation, creativity, excitement (energy – happiness)
  • Growing, evolving, self-realization (personal development – abilities)
  • Contributing, giving, (meaningfulness, energy – happiness)

"Surround yourself with dreamers, those who do, those who think, but most importantly, surround yourself with those who see the greatness of you even when you do not see it yourself"

My motto is Be Kind!

It also applies to yourself. Take good care of your mental health as well as your physical health.

The Dalai Lama in the book “Happiness” means that regardless of one’s personal circumstances, it is possible to find happiness by being satisfied with oneself and how one performs.

Just like the vast majority of people on their journey through life, I have experienced a lot of setbacks which I have since then worked on, overcome and from that I have gained both experience and knowledge. Today I am grateful for those obstacles, I changed my outlook on the experiences I viewed as negatives and changed my perspective to allow them to transform them into positive experiences. How we think about ourselves and look at what is happening greatly affects our happiness.

Today I have a vision that is bigger than my own ego, where I feel that I can contribute in my own way. Life feels meaningful. I am also glad that I have had the courage to make changes to follow my heart, my passion, while filling my pillars in life, “Healthy Happy and Wealthy”.

I also love to inspire others to follow their dreams and build something that they can sustainably support and live for, on the basis of their own unique talents and passions.

My advice to you is to follow your heart and work for something that you have a passion for, something that the world needs, something you can get paid for, that you are good at and which benefits everyone! Then IKIGAI, the Japanese secret to a long and happy life arises.

Also support your loved ones to follow their hearts and dreams by showing that you believe that everything is possible. You can do that with encouraging words, share a contact who may be able to help the person closer to their target, buy their services or products. It will mean a lot because their seeds will have the opportunity to grow.

"Happiness is not something that comes ready - it comes from your own actions"

- Dalai Lama
